About Me
I’m a filmmaker and student at HKU working as a Director / Cinematographer, with a strong focus on cinematography and visual storytelling. Camera work is what draws me to filmmaking. It makes me feel connected to the film itself, and I usually imagine what a film looks like before anything else. Framing, movement, and composition are the parts of filmmaking that come most naturally to me.
Since I was young, I’ve enjoyed creating scenes and stories that feel bigger than everyday life. That interest has stayed with me, and now I use film as a way to build worlds and tell stories that feel engaging and honest. My visual storytelling is my strongest skill, but I’m always learning and improving with every project I take on.
I’m interested in fiction and character-driven stories, often with darker tones and serious moods, but with expressive and surrealistic elements. I like working closely with others, experimenting with ideas, and pushing visuals further each time. While I work as both a director and cinematographer, cinematography is where I feel most at home. My goal is to keep developing a clear visual style and grow into a filmmaker who can create memorable, cinematic images that support strong storytelling.

Old Films
These are some of my early films from Uni and even high school. They might be rough around the edges, but they’re fundamental to my growth and show where it all started.
